John Amplas (Day of the Dead; Martin; Dawn of the Dead) was the first professor to get the fire sparked in the beginning years of his collegiate career, while also directing Him in few stage productions. Director, Monica Payne, known for her prominent direction of "The Bluest Eye", has been a mentor of Perris' for quite some time - helping him find ways to elevate His career. The Suzuki Method (Teaching the actor to build awareness of his body, especially his center) was taught to Perris by actor and director Ben Blazer (Hamlet). It was always Perris' goal to one day work with iconic people in industry. In April of 2016, that dream came true, for Perris was one of many young actors picked by Denzel Washington to be a rehearsal actor for the movie (Broadway original) "Fences". Theres never a time Perris doesn't want a cup of coffee to compliment a day of watching a good mystery show or his favorite - a horror film. Anything surrounding the paranormal attracts his attention, so binge watching Ghost Adventures is a perfect hobby for him. Learning and finding new avenues to become better as an actor is what he loves to do on his spare time, whether that's reading, writing, or study black and white films.
