Pearl Wu was born and grew up in Wuhan province in central China. She was in film production for 8 years in China where she worked as an assistant to producers on major Hollywood films including The Karate Kid (2010), and Transformers 4, before she moved to the United States in 2013. She is now an actor in Los Angeles, California. She is known for Switched at Birth. She loves to cook and travel. Her favorite cuisine is Thai. She exercises often and believes in eating healthy.
