Pearl Amanda Dickson was born in Portland, Oregon, to Heather Manley, a naturopathic physician and author, and Fred Dickson, general contractor founder and CEO. Immediately after birth, her family moved to Kamuela, Hawaii. Pearl began acting after auditioning for Wizard of Oz at age 4 and continued to appear in all community theatre productions on the Big Island.
