Having studied drama at Australia's National Institute for Dramatic Art, Paula has made the most impact on TV. Learning her craft playing Carol Finlayson in the saucy show "Number 96" and then Lisa Brooks in the anodyne "The Young Doctors", Paula achieved TV stardom with her Logie-winning ongoing performance as determined policewoman Danni Francis in the highly popular "Cop Shop". Working on "Cop Shop", Paula met and married co-star John Orcsik. When "Cop Shop" finished production, Paula continued to endear herself to Australian TV viewers thanks to high profile soap roles with ironic connections to her "Cop Shop" success. In the cult series "Prisoner", she played Lorelei Wilkinson, a vivacious con-woman charged with posing as a police officer and then starred in the short-lived "Richmond Hill" as policeman's wife Janet Bryant. Away from the camera, Paula has worked continuously for various Australian charities. It is estimated that Paula has raised $5 million for charity. Show less «
