Paula Castaño was born on the 31st of December, 1982 in Cucuta Colombia, but she was raised in Cartagena. At the age of 18, she made her first film, El Cielo, directed by Alessandro Basile (2000). She began her studies in Spain for several years until she moved back to Colombia where she continued her career with the film, El Arriero, directed by Guillermo Calle (2008) and started on Tv.
