Patrick Depailler was born on August 9, 1944 in Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-de-Dôme, France as Patrick André Eugène Joseph Depailler. He is known for his work on Formula 1 (1950), Jarama fórmula 1 (1976) and Lap of the Gods (1992). He died on August 1, 1980 in Hockenheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
