Writer, Actress and Director Patricia Baumann Vera graduated from Boston College in 1993 with a B.A. in Theater Arts and a B.S. in Information Systems. She won the Senior One-Act Play Competition at Boston College for her directorial debut "Hello Out There" written by William Saroyan and produced in 1993. She worked for Shakespeare & Company as an actress doing Summer Stock in 1992 and 1993 under the training of Tina Packer (Royal Shakespeare Company), Dennis Krausnick and Fran Bennett, voice coach. For Walt Disney Pictures in 1995-96 she served as the Assistant to writer/director Jim Kouf and Producer Lynn Bigelow Kouf (Gang Related, 1996). In 2000, she worked as Assistant for Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, (Life With Judy Garland). Her TV acting credits include many mom roles for "A Haunting" and "Psychic Witness" produced for the Investigation Network, She was also seen as "Ophelia" in Hamlet for Regent University and "Shelby" in Steel Magnolias.
