Born in Baton Rouge, the youngest of four boys, Pat grew up in the small Suburban town of Flower Mound, Texas. As a 5th grader, he was cast in a local community theatre production that chronicled the history in music of Flower Mound - Sweet Flower Mound Land which was voted best original work in Texas for America's Bicentennial. He continued to pursue juvenile roles in community theatre for the remainder of his tweens & teens. While in college, he also worked in local area community and Semi-Professional theaters in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro Area and played a variety of roles while working to earn points toward membership in Actors Equity (Stage Actors Union).Majoring in Theatre at NTSU (now UNT) he met his future husband, Stephen Mosher, and together they opted to leave school. Beginning his career alongside fellow Texas cohorts, Brent Anderson, Todd Terry and John S. Davies, Pat took on roles on Stage and in a variety of TV commercials, extra spots and whatever work could be found. His regional theatre appearances include: Cabaret, Eastern Standard, Twelfth Night and The Mouse Trap. His appearance as an Air force Airman accused of rape on the TV game show/courtroom drama, Guilty or Innocent (1984), marked his first major speaking role on nationally syndicated television. The Andy Anderson feature; Positive I.D. (1986), which also featured Fellow Texas alumni Lauren Lane, was his first appearance on movie screens. Pat and Stephen moved to New York City in 1993 where Pat retired from acting for 15 years. The couple still lives in New York City and, after that 15 year stint in the advertising industry, Pat has returned to his first love of acting.In 2011 The couple celebrated 25 years together by traveling the US and getting married in every state that would legally allow them to do so. I was miserable at being a child. Fat, nerdy, clumsy, prissy always last picked. I got shoved in lockers quite a bit. You know the wonderful English actor Robert Morley said "All unsuccessful children become actors." That was me. I never got out from under being called gay and all the cruel names that came with it... But I found my own rhythm late in high school, and in my Senior year was hardly ever there because of all the traveling that came with being a triple crown member of the Band, the Choir and the Speech/Drama team!
