Pasha is a London bred actor and musician and plays series regular 'Rakesh Kotecha' in 'Emmerdale' on ITV He studied drama at Westminster College in London, where he obtained a diploma in dramatic art. He has also studied at the Ivana Chubbuck and Margie Haber studios in Los Angeles. His first major breakthrough as an actor arrived when he was cast as 'Amar' in 'Ae Fond Kiss' directed by Ken Loach (winner of the César Award - Best European Union Film). Recently he starred as 'Kabir' in the British feature film 'Pusher', and as 'Ahmed' in the critically acclaimed German film' Fernes Land'. On British television he has guest starred in prime-time television dramas 'Babylon','Casualty', 'Spooks', 'Silent Witness' and Law & Order. His stage credits include the recent lead role of 'Adnan' in the critically acclaimed 'Betrayed' at the Lyric Theatre in Los Angeles, produced by the Whitmore Eclectic - the family run theatre company of the legendary American actor James Whitmore. '. Back home in England he starred as 'Ranjit Singh' in 'Lion of Punjab' (Watermans Arts Centre), the only actor to have portrayed this iconic eighteenth century North Indian King on a UK stage.
