Paolo Romano Carta (Rome, April 18, 1964) is an Italian musician, guitar player and record producer. He has worked with many famous Italian singers, like Adriano Celentano, Eros Ramazzotti, Alexia, Fabio Concato, Riccardo Cocciante, Max Pezzali, and Gianni Morandi. He has also worked with foreign artists, mainly on TV: Whitney Houston, Manhattan Transfer, Lionel Richie and Gloria Gaynor. 2005 marks the start of his artistic partnership with Laura Pausini. He takes part in the 2005 World Tour from January till July and after that he becomes the artist's romantic partner. He is the producer and music composer of many of her songs.
