Page grew up in the historic, port city of Charleston, South Carolina. Her weekends and summers were spent on nearby Sullivans Island where Edgar Allen Poe lived while writing The Gold-bug. Those early, barefoot days were much like the ones described by Pat Conroy in the The Prince of Tides: shelling, cast netting, sailing, seeking out oyster roasts and parties, and seemingly always covered in sand. The endless performances and plays organized by Page, often surf-side, which usually included her brother and sister, cousins or friends, were the genesis of her passion for bringing stories and characters to life. While she loves epic, period dramas like Titanic and Out of Africa, and comedies like The Hangover, anything Will Ferrell and Peter Sellers', The Pink Panther, and tear-jerking dramas like The Notebook and Terms of Endearment, she is an absolute Horror and Psychological Thriller fanatic!
