Olivia DePaux was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to Lucy and Billy Poteete (DePaux) then moved back to Georgia at 6mo old and grew up in North Atlanta with her parents and little brother. Her mother was of English descent and her fathers family was of Native American and French. After graduating from Berkmar High School, Olivia got an associates degree in engineering and CAD and worked as a CAD engineer while she attended So. Polytech for Chemical Engineering and Kennesaw State for Marketing. While attending Kennesaw State she met and married Scott, who she has been married to for 23 years. They have three children, Jordan, 21, a singer, writer, graphic artist; Lauren 18, a high school senior who will be heading to nursing school; and Brandon, 17, a junior, who is a thespian leader in high school. Starring in many plays as the lead, singing, dancing, playing the piano and composing the music for performances. Olivia started acting in middle school for drama. This continued on to church plays and later commercials and eventually she decided to dive full force into the real true calling she had been denying. She started out in Background acting to get familiar with the industry and how the TV/FIlM set rolls. Quickly learning the ropes and moving on to do stand-in and feature background work, she started getting roles in local film projects. She has been taking 3 acting classes a week for over 2 years to train and learn as much and as fast she can that includes Improv, Meisner, Scene study, Stanislavski, Strasberg, Adler, and more. Realizing after the death of her father that you only live once and life is short, so, you have to do your dreams or you just are a dreamer. Show less «
