Norman Todd was named Senior Vice President of Production and Development for infinitum nihil in March of 2018. In this role, he has full oversight of all development activities, production, and budgets for infinitum nihil. Working directly with senior management and reporting to Johnny Depp, principal of infinitum nihil, Norman seeks diverse new opportunities that build upon the success that infinitum nihil has constantly achieved.Norman is executive producer of "True Crime Addict," written by James Renner and adapted by Richard Price, currently in development at Universal Television, as well as Evan Spiliotopolous' adaptation of the Tom Lopez's radio play "The Fourth Tower of Inverness", currently in development at Amazon.Prior to his current post, Norman served for 5 years as Vice President, Production and Development, infinitum nihil. During which time he shepherded for infinitum nihil the critically acclaimed, Oscar winning adaptation of the Brian Selznick classic "Hugo," written by John Logan and directed by Martin Scorsese. Discovering this book upon publication and realizing the potential of the property, Norman set it up at GK Films. Additionally, Norman had the honor of doing extensive development on the adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's Classic "The Rum Diary," written and directed by Bruce Robinson.Norman initially joined infinitum nihil in 2004 as a creative executive where he worked on such films as "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Corpse Bride," "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End." In addition to his duties as creative executive, Norman was instrumental in the planning, logistics, and execution of the memorial for Hunter S. Thompson, held in 2005 at Hunter's Owl Farm in Woody Creek, Colorado.Norman got his start in the industry through working internships before landing in the mail room at United Talent Agency, where he rose to senior assistant to the partners in the motion picture literary department, before departing to Principato-Young Entertainment (now Artists First) where he was promoted to literary manager after serving as chief of staff to the partners.Norman volunteers for the Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition and is a member of the Los Angeles Fire Department CERT Battalion 5. Norman holds a bachelor's degree in film theory and criticism from Emory University, is an FAA licensed pilot, a certified NAUI divemaster, and Eagle Scout. Show less «
