An articulate rap artist, actor and humanitarian. Chill E.B. was born in Jacksonville, NC but spent most of his childhood in Germany. Following high school Chill E.B. served in the US Army. Standing 6 foot 5 inches tall the Veteran received a basketball scholarship to Lon Morris Junior College and East Texas State University. Realizing after a few semesters that he wanted to pursue the arts, he moved to California. Soon after, he released his first single "Freedom" on an independent label. In 1993 Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Record Label released Chill E.B.'s EP Born Suspicious. The video of his song "Menace To Society" from his Born Suspicious EP was played on rotation across American television screens. Chill E.B. wrote "Menace To Society", a story inspired by a 13-year-old boy who dealt drugs to help feed his sister and mother, the song inspired a film of the same name a year later (though the cut was not included on its soundtrack), his song was also dubbed on two television films. The pro-survival rap artist is also an accomplished voiceover talent and actor - Chill E.B. appeared in the Warner Bros. movie Mad City, starred in adverts for Sega, Double Rainbow Ice Cream, Partnership For Drug Free America, Department Of Energy, Nike, Nickelodeon and most recently NBA.com. Chill E.B. walked away from the music business in 1994, but returned to the scene in 2009 after reinventing himself with the release of his single "Y'all Busted". His single "Define Better" soon followed grabbing the attention of celebrities John Travolta and Kelly Preston who linked his video on their websites.
