Niko Nelson is a Cherokee Native-European American triple threat, originally from Sacramento, CA. His Ancestors were a part of the Scottish-Cherokee Patriarch in the 1700s. Niko gave his first audition in the play "Alice In Wonderland" at 5-years old for the role of the White Rabbit but was too young to be cast. He would have landed the role if it was not for his young age because of the talent that was there as he sang and danced to NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye," said the Director. His first starring role was as the Principal of Paul Bunyan in the musical play "America's Tallest Tales" at 11 years old. He auditioned and built his craft in roles such as Conrad Birdie and Hugo Peabody in "Bye Bye Birdie," Prince Eric and Grimsby in "The Little Mermaid," Danny Zuko in "Grease" and landed bookings in the San Francisco Commercial market. He was first trained in Soap and Sitcom for the screen under Studio 24 of Sacramento, CA, and has since established himself in Los Angeles, where he is developing into the star for TV/ Film mentors have always seen him as. Studying scene study and directed by acting teacher Mary McCusker, Peter Lauer, among others respected in the industry. "Courageously I pursue my dream," as Niko puts it.
