It wasn't until after graduating high school that the acting bug came. Through a friend, Nick found his way to an agent and acting classes with Kathy Laughlin acting studio in Tampa, Florida. At the acting studio, he became friends and acted with 'Gary Daniels' He loved acting so much that he dropped out of college to pursue his newfound dream. Through numerous grueling round trip drives from Tampa to Miami for countless auditions, Nick landed TV commercials for companies such as Publix Supermarkets, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and even a MasterCard commercial with Jackie Gleason. He even landed small parts in the made for HBO movie _Long Gone_ ( 1987) and the comedy _Summer Rental_ (1985).
