Raised in the mountains of Montana along the Continental Divide, Nick grew up in Great Falls, MT where his filmmaking career started by directing adaptations of The Odyssey, Romeo & Juliet, The Scarlett Letter, and The Battle for Iwo Jima (two years before the Eastwood versions).Attending Carroll College in Helena, Montana, Nick won three NAIA Football National Championships along with being elected team captain in 2007. During this time, he directed several college films before truly starting his acting career in college theater. Roles include: Horatio in Hamlet and Dr. Seward in Dracula. After being dumped by his college girlfriend, Nick fell into despair and started questioning the path his life was on.He gave up a career of civil engineering to become the co-owner of Pink Gloves Boxing. Pink Gloves Boxing is running in 20 locations worldwide, and was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the Top 100 Companies to Watch in 2010. Nick published his first book, "Loops 4 Life", in June 2010. He has spoken to over 10,000 teachers, coaches, athletes, and students about "Revealing the Champion Within."During that same time, Nick solidified his friendship with Bryan Ferriter (college teammate and filmmaker for Crimson Winter) through the passion for film and from sharing a similar family tragedy. Along with co-starring in Crimson Winter, Nick helped produce it. Now he is the co-owner of Interwoven Studios with Bryan.
