Nick Hamm is a BAFTA award-winning British director and producer whose work extends to feature films, television and theatre.Hamm spent many years as a resident director with the Royal Shakespeare Company, focusing on both Shakespeare and contemporary playwrights; the latter including, Howard Barker, Edward Bond and Arthur Miller. After winning a BAFTA for his dramatic film based on a Chekhov story starring Edward Fox, Hamm transitioned into film and television.Hamm's work for British television includes the series "Play On One" for the BBC, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Colin Firth. He later directed the highly acclaimed ITV series "Rik Mayall Presents", starring Helena Bonham Carter. In the US, Hamm was the Showrunner and Director for EOne's dramatic thriller series "Rogue", starring award-winner Thandie Newton, as well as DirecTV/AT&T's highly acclaimed drama series "Full Circle", created by playwright Neil LaBute. Both shows, which are produced by Hamm's US-run production Company, Momentum TV, are in production on their fifth and third seasons, respectively.Hamm's work in features includes Miramax's historical drama "Talk of Angels", starring Vincent Perez and Polly Walker; Film Four and Miramax's romantic comedy "The Very Thought of You", written by Peter Morgan and starring Joseph Fiennes and Rufus Sewel; Pathé's cult smash, "The Hole" , starring Thora Birch and Keira Knightley; as well as Lionsgate's psychological horror film, "Godsend", starring Robert DeNiro and Rebecca Romijn; and the rock 'n' roll Irish comedy, "Killing Bono", starring Ben Barnes, Robert Sheehan and Pete Postlethwaite for Paramount Pictures.In 2016, Hamm completed his most recent film with Northern Ireland Screen and IM Global, "The Journey."
