Nekoda Phillips was born on December 14th in Cherry Hill, New Jersey to Edward Phillips, a chemical engineer and Mary Ann Vilenica, a high school chemistry teacher. He largely has English, Irish, German, and Croatian ancestry. He is the youngest of two children, his sister is Deborah, who were raised in Medford Lakes, New Jersey. He fathered two sons: Phoenix Phillips and Sydney Phillips. Nekoda is not married.Nekoda began playing the piano at age four and picked up the guitar at age fourteen. He mainly listened to old Elvis Presley and The Beatles records to teach himself to sing which ultimately earned him a unique crooning pop sound.Nekoda means it when he says, "I have an IQ like the inside of a triangle..." and then sighs saying "... and it's been both a blessing and a curse which has prodded me my entire life like a dark twister filled with lit up flying question marks and exclamation points."After founding several businesses throughout his life, his funnest business activity is Equity Options Investments, and occasionally starting a new business venture.Although Nekoda was invited but declined to audition for a lead role in the Twentieth Century Fox film Taps while attending Admiral Farragut Naval Academy, and although many years later, he serendipitously landed a lead role in a TV Pilot, he did not enthusiastically pursue acting until 2017.He works with the utmost professionalism, expertise and humor, and is especially interested in Principle and Specialty roles in film. He is a SAG/AFTRA member.As a Philotheist & Philanthropist, Nekoda has spent many years studying all the arts, sciences and religions of the world to discover the true meaning of life.
