He started performing at family parties at six. Took up guitar at 16, sang in bands (Celtic/Roots/Pop/World music) while going through college. (UC Berkeley, California where he created the role of a kilted Malvolio (Twelfth Night) on the Doe classical staircase).Continued acting with ex San Francisco Mime Troupers, Joe Bellan and Joan Mankin, doing physical comedy, later graduating from ACT (American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco) Acting Certificate Program.Private Study: Master Class with Anthony Taccone (Angels in America-Perestroika/Berkeley Repertory Co), 1988-91.Performed in over 60 productions around the SF Bay Area. Shakespeare to Modern.
