Nathaniel Thompson launched one of the earliest comprehensive review websites devoted to horror, cult, and art house films, Mondo Digital (which continues to this day) and served as the springboard for a four-book DVD Delirium series for FAB Press. He has contributed to audio commentaries and documentaries for over 200 home video releases, and for 15 years he has been a regular contributing writer for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and Turner Classic Movies, as well as a weekly contributor to FilmStruck during its run from 2016 to 2018. One of his earliest professional jobs was at DreamWorks SKG soon after its founding, followed by a decade-long tenure at Image Entertainment overseeing releases including the Something Weird and EuroShock lines. He has also been published in Video Watchdog and Fear Without Frontiers, and he can be seen in several documentaries as well as the entire third season of Eli Roth's History of Horror.
