Nathalie was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, to a Greek father and Colombian mother but moved with her family to Italy when she was only a few months old. There she spent the next five years shuttling between Rome and Palermo and had her first exposure in the entertainment/advertising business when she was only three years old, in an ad for Pampers. In 1990, her father, a pharmacist, decided to move back to his native city of Thessaloniki in Greece. There, Nathalie continued to work as a child model while attending regular school and leading a typical childhood until her graduation from Pinewood, The American International School of Thessaloniki. With her high-school diploma in hand, at eighteen she applied to King's College London to study pharmacy but at the same time sent a "just in case" application to the prestigious National School of Cinema in Rome, (aka Centro Sperimentale Di Cinematografia) feeling the deep need to express her latent creativity instead of choosing the safety of academic studies.King's College accepted her application offering a scholarship while she received no reply from the National School of Cinema. Disappointed but fateful, she took a deep breath, accepted her first rejection in the "biz" and decided to follow in her father's footsteps by moving to London to study pharmacy. However, just as she had resolved to dedicate herself to her academic studies, she received an email from The National School of Cinema, profusely apologizing for the late reply and indeed inviting her to Rome for an audition. If she made it past that first step, a final monthly try-out would be waiting for her.Fierce and naturally determined, she flies to Rome, makes it through all her try-outs and finally wins one of the six available spots for the three-year acting course that she so much wished for.Back in Rome, this time her life would take her intended direction.Since 2005 she has worked as an actress in many advertisements and TV series for the Italian, English and American premiere television networks such as Rai, Madiaset, Sky, BBC and NBC. She has also worked in famous Italian movies such as Ex (2009), L'abbuffata (2007) and Ultimi della classe (2008), and in Romeo & Juliet (2013) and Christopher Roth (2010) for the US and the UK.
