Emmy Nominated 2017, Ivor Novello winner and Royal Television Society winning composer Natalie Holt has created dramatic original scores for feature films, television drama, and narrative-driven entertainment. Her latest projects include the powerful series for BBC1, Three Girls directed by Phillippa Lowthorpe, and Wallander starring Kenneth Branagh, plus ITV's Victoria for which Holt received an Emmy Nomination. Holt's music can also be heard in Journey's End directed by Saul Dibb, Pin Cushion Deborah Haywood's debut feature Pin Cushion and alongside Hans Zimmer and Martin Phipps in the Weinstein company film Woman in Gold, and family smash hit from the producers of Harry Potter; Paddington.Natalie trained in composing at the National Film and Television School and studied violin at the Royal Academy of Music, where she was made an associate in 2017. Her diverse repertoire ranges from epic full orchestral scores recorded with 80-piece choirs to intimate, small ensembles and hybrid electronic scores featuring an eclectic mix of live recorded solo instruments. To create unique sounds for each score, she draws from her collection of instruments and often to plays on much of her work.Holt is based between London and Los Angles, recording with A-list orchestras at major studios including Abbey Road Studios, Air Studios and Newman Scoring Stage and works with filmmakers in Los Angeles, London and commercial clients worldwide.
