Nada Abou Farhat is one of the most loved and respected actresses today in Lebanon and Levant area. Born on September 1st in Dbayeh, Lebanon, this young and spirited actress debuted her career on Tv while still at her first year of Dramatic Arts study. Having performed for more than 18 years, Nada excelled in many roles in TV series, theatre and films under the direction of renowned directors like: Raymond Gebara, Nidal Al Ashkar, Jawad Al Asadi, Lina Khoury, Philippe Aractingi, Elie Kamal, Mahmoud Hojeij, Layth Hajjo, Mohamed Sami, Elie Khalife... Known for her excellent performances on stage and TV series, Nada's big break in cinema was in 2007 when she portrayed Zeina in the feature film "Under the Bombs" for which she won several awards including "Best Actress" in international film festivals (Dubai, Oran, Thessaloniki...) While in perpetual search for new and challenging roles, she trains constantly with vocal, dance and body exercises. Her participation in 2013 in the international program "Dancing with the Stars" as one of the stars showed her passion for dance and her participation in the Ramadan series "Louaabat Al Mawt" as Chahrazad made her fans appreciate the versatility of her performances. In 2014, Nada had her best stage performance yet in the successful play "Majnoun Yehki", directed by Lina Khoury, for which she was awarded the best Arab female actress. She also participated in 3 Lebanese films: "Stable Unstable" by Mahmoud Hojeij, "Nesswen" by Sam Andraous and "The Void" written by Georges Khabbaz and directed by 7 different NDU graduate directors. Including the Egyptian series "Kalam Aala Warak", proving to her fans once again, her passion in acting. In 2015, Nada took part of "Single, Married, Divorced/Yalla 3a2belkoun" a social comedy where she played the role of highly sexual woman who is afraid of commitment. Nada's latest short dance film "Revoltango", written and directed by Elie Kamal, was selected in the DIFF to take part in the competition. Nada was also selected to be one of the jury member for short movies in CIFF. Nada also participated in "One night on Broaway",directed by Roy Khoury, where she danced and sand for the first time live on stage in two different and well known Broadway musical scenes. Nada's latest is her participation in "Single, Married, Divorced 2/Yalla 3a2belkoun Chabeb" directed by Shady Hanna. She also took part in "The Other Side of November" by Maryanne Zehil.
