Globetrotting, trilingual and a triple threat talent, actress Mozart Dee graduated High School with CTY High Honors at the age of 14, is fluent & literate as a native in Chinese, Spanish & English, plays 4 instruments, did a Ted Talk and just won a Best Actress Award for her dramatic lead in "Rose" as well as several film festival awards for her writing/directing/filmmaking of her Music Videos for her original songs. She's a captivating all-American girl who can also do an authentic British accent and "one to watch" in the entertainment industry.Born in Pleasanton, California, she grew up her first five years on a picturesque vineyard property in the Santa Cruz mountains, then raised around the world traveling as a world-schooled global nomad to 48 countries and most states in the USA for the last 10 years, literally using the world as her classroom. That has given Mozart a unique perspective and she has been a popular and award-winning keynote speaker for a variety of audiences and international venues from Beijing to Barcelona starting at 8 years old, including being the youngest reporter at New York Fashion Week at 13. She started a Youtube channel at 5 about her travels and her first video "Where in Heaven is Mozart" went viral and over the years many production companies requested her to star in a reality TV show including Bunim-Murray VP's. She is now making a documentary film about her sui generis peripatetic life and how it has affected her languages, education, creativity and now blossoming career in film, TV, songwriting and music.Serendipitously, Mozart made her acting TV debut at 7 with Japanese star Maako Kido and director Tomoko Kiriyama for the hit ABC Japan show "Travel Salad" that was filmed in Croatia, and had the lead in several theater productions as a young child. Her family was a Case Study in Tim Ferriss' record breaking book, "The 4-Hour WorkWeek" which has spent 7 years on the New York Times best sellers list and they won two Lonely Planet Travel Awards. She is the first child since Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to travel the world so extensively with a piano and violin ( adding a didgeridoo in Australia and a Martin guitar she calls "Destiny" in Texas). She started songwriting at 4 and has had two of her original songs in two movies and has done extensive live performances around the world at such venues as Carnegie Hall, Four Seasons Hotels, Six Flags, House of Blues, Disney Hall, Royce Hall and Hilton Hotels. Her music video 'Ignite" premiered on the big screen at the iconic TLC Chinese Theater in Hollywood. She loved opera & Shakespeare as a toddler, started violin before 2 with a teacher from Yale, piano at 3, started Flamenco dance study in Andalusia, Spain at 5, Hip-Hop dance in Barcelona at 8, learned the didgeridoo in Sydney at 10, comedy improv at 11 in Asia and with an actress/writer mom and visual artist/creative director dad, she grew up thriving on live performances of all kinds around the world and exploring the earth's best museums with lots of free time to play and create in idyllic outdoor locations like Bhutan, Santorini or Bora Bora.Mozart recently moved to Los Angeles, started college part time at 14 at SMC with a 4.0 GPA, is on a scholarship for private study with Dr. Ian Krouse at UCLA for music composition, a scholarship for voice with Carol Tingle, has a knack for comedy and a scholarship with The Groundlings, a mentee with non-profit WriteGirlLA, a Scholar soloist at the National Children's Chorus and many other acting, music and dance classes. She was just voted number 2 in the top 10 for Scenebot's November winners. On the charity front, Mozart helped build a school in Guatemala with Pencils of Promise, is a regular panelist on a live radio show and podcast for teen advice and is a passionate volunteer for Teen Insight Seminars. She wrote a song at 13 called 'You're Not Alone" to help the cause of Human Trafficking and is active supporting that cause. She also loves animals and is passionate about green issues. Her big dream is to change the world through her acting and music. On her down time you will find her reading, traveling, riding roller-coasters, surfing and cooking organic paleo treats.
