Born and raised in Herzeliya, Israel, Mira Tzur began her career as a ballet/musical theatre performer. She became a member of the world-renowned Bat Sheva Dance Company lead by Ohad Naharin, after graduating the prestigious Telma Yalin Arts School on a full scholarship provided by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF).Upon completing her military service as a counter intelligence officer in the Israeli Defense Force , Miss Tzur moved to New York City to continue her performance training at the Lee Strasberg Institute and at the Atlantic Theater Acting Company.Since 1994 when she was cast ed for the official national Broadway tour of Cabaret Mira was balancing from one production to another, being recruited as a soloist for the Monte Carlo Royal Theater production Cinema Review ,sharing the stage with Elton John,Liza Minnelli, Paul Anka, Julio Iglesias to name a few....such leading to her next performance at the annual Gala for the king of Morocco .Tzur's on camera credits include as a series regular on Comedy Central's hit show, Viva Variety, roles on FX's Rescue Me, NBC's 30 Rock, Fox's Fringe, HBO's How to Make it in America ,Oxygen's Body of Work and Reality guest staring appearances on Bravo . Her film credits include The Stepford Wives, The Devil Wears Prada, The Pink Panther, The Last Dance, Junk , My Father My Don and Hardly Waiting . Mira has appeared in countless national TV commercials and ad campaigns for Neutrogena, Mary Kay, Hilton, Four Season ,Viagra, Advil, Electrolux, Samsung,Sony,DropBox, Foxwoods, Bank of America, Citibank, US Bank, Macy's, LazyBoy, Home Depot,Vitamin Shoppe,, Campbell's, Ray-Ban and many more.Miss Tzur moved behind the scenes to serve as president of Multi Ethnix Entertainment Group. She served as artistic director for numerous cabaret dance performances, fashion shoots, fitness commercials and independent films and short demos. In 2011, she founded One Circle Productions, LLC- an entertainment and business consulting company through which she continues to foster relationships between brands as well as produce projects including the New York stage premiere of Naomi Ragen's critically acclaimed play, Women's Minyan, directed by Tovah Feldshuh; Hinton Battle's urban musical, Love Lies staring Brian Mcknight ; and Standard Time, a dance musical she produced at NYC's Duke Theater in association with the Mark Stuart Dance Company.Her screen productions include Hardly Waiting, a short film comedy by Alon Gelnik, currently on the festival market. Working with Priority Films, Mira is in pre-production for the feature film comedy Taking the Stand .Other films slated will include, Listen, (adapted from Bat Zvi-Harel's novel), for which Tzur has acquired the rights.Tzur is currently authoring her first book--ImAges-Book. Culminating from her over twenty years experience as a working model, ImAges is a comprehensive guide to the pursuit of Commercial, Print and Lifestyle Modeling. The book is meant to break the illusion of the unattainability of the modeling world-It encourages self discovery for anyone interested in entering the professional world of ad campaigns and corporate branding.
