Mike Kent got involved in the TV & Movie Industry after having worked for a famous Comedy Cabaret Hypnotist as a Stage Assistant. Mike traveled all over the country and many parts of the Globe assisting him with the show and became a fundamental and vital part of the act. After having gained his Equity card Mike studied at "City Lit" Covent Garden, Central London in the 1980's and did many courses in "Drama" to help develop his acting technique. In the early 1990's Mike was cast in two large "Do It All" Commercials that were screened all over the UK. One of Mike's most interesting acting experiences was to work on the famous Police Show "The Bill" (Talkback Thames) He worked on this show from 1994-2009 as uniformed Policeman PC (No.676) Steve Chaplin rubbing shoulders with all the cast in all sorts of Police scenario's. In 1994 Mike met the great Gerry Anderson on the wonderful and lavish production "Space Precinct 2040" filmed at Pinewood Studios. Mike worked there as a Demeter City Police Officer in a few of the episodes. As well as acting, Mike has enjoyed much success as a character model over the years, and yes as per usual a lot of those assignments have been portraying Police Officer's in the main. Show less «
