Mike DeRosa is an American TV/Film Actor from Queens NYC. Mike had begun his career and training performing in several theatrical productions including a variety of shows from classical and contemporary comedies, dramas, and Shakespeare to musical theater and improvisational theater. Mike took the lead playing many different and complex versatile characters in several productions such as Grease, Sweeney Todd, A Streetcar Named Desire and being nominated for an Irene Ryan Award for his performance of the lonesome distraught drug addict in Arabia We'd All be Kings. Mike has starred in many touring shows such as the 2012 NYC Parks tour of Shakespeare in the Parks: Twelfth Night and Contemporary Prods: Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie.As a member of SAG-AFTRA, Mike has starred in several Independent film festival features such as playing the comedic boy next door ladies man in Cut Loose Again directed by Scott Peltz and his performance as the edgy rough and unhinged young hustler in Streets of Despair Directed by Rafael Antoni, as well as making several Television appearances in television shows such as Gossip Girl, Mysteries at the Museum, and Tattoo Nightmare.As an extremely dedicated performer and contributor to the industry, Mike has also written several projects including everything from Stage Dramas, to TV Sitcoms, to Full Length Indie Features. From dark drama's like For Every Change the Rooster Crows to multi-genre comedies such as Hope He Didn't Say What I Wish I Said, his last written project Fridays After Ten is currently in pare-production.Mike has also produced several Voice Over Comedy Skits with his company The Cranky Pranksters and went on to do more professional voice over work for commercial ads and cartoon/animation voice acting gigs such as Instant Win Lottery and Zales Diamond.
