Michelle Pokopac is an American actor of Korean descent from Lawrenceville, Georgia. With a constant interest in the arts ranging from acting, drawing, and playing piano, she continued to pursue acting through her high school's theatre department. Michelle received her BFA in Theatre Performance from Columbus State University and did additional studies in Florence, Italy and Oxford, England. In 2017, Michelle and her partners founded East by Southeast, an organization dedicated to supporting, developing, and producing Asian artists and their work in Atlanta while also encouraging inclusivity and representation through community engagement. She is also a member of IDEA ATL (Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity in the Arts of Atlanta) in response to the social and racial injustice brought forth from the Atlanta theatre community in 2020.
