A recent honors graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Michelle Cameron has been working as an actor non-stop on feature film, commercial, web and theatre projects. In August, Michelle garnered a role as a drug dealer in the upcoming indie feature "Those Who Wander," sharing the screen with Bonnie Wright ("Harry Potter") and Jacob Zachar ("Greeks" ABC Family). She then landed a principal role in "Kensho at the Bedfellow" and co-starred with a host of great New York-based actors, from Dana Ashbrook ("Twin Peaks") to Kathryn Erbe ("Law and Order: Criminal Intent) to Tony-nominated Sahr Ngaujah ("Fela!"). This winter, Michelle Cameron starred as Queen Elsa ("Frozen") in a parody video by the viral YouTube sensation AVbyte, which now has over 30,000,000 views! This success has led to many appearances and an invitation to perform at LeakyCon this August in Orlando Florida. Michelle has continued to work on indie features, as well as many music videos and short films, and is looking forward to the release of her feature film work in 2015.Trained in both screen acting and in musical theatre, Michelle was featured in the 2013 "Broadway Rising Stars" concert at the Town Hall NYC. This concert features the top graduates of the top drama schools, and is covered by Broadway World, Backstage, and other entertainment publications. In June, Michelle joined the concert cast of "Bright Lights, Big City" at 54 Below, directed by Michael Greif ("Rent," "Next to Normal"), and shared the stage with Alice Ripley, Jen Damiano, Colin Donnell, Matt Doyle and more! She also performs regularly at the "Broadway Ballyhoo" at the Laurie Beechman Theater, and is always on-call for many up-and-coming musical theatre composers who utilize her vocal talents and quick-learning abilities for their frequent workshops.In her spare time, Michelle Cameron writes pop-rock compositions, indulges in the visual arts, and works to produce her own work.
