Michael Wooten is a writer, actor, musician, and filmmaker from West Philadelphia. Growing up in a city with such rich, potent cultural history and identity, Michael's eclectic creative appetite was constantly being nourished, from participating in murals around the city at age 10 to performing with Paul Simon and the Philadelphia Orchestra at 14. At 16 years old, he was accepted to Berklee College of Music, where, after finishing high school a year early, he attended on a full-tuition scholarship. After college, Michael relocated to Los Angeles and found success as a studio and touring musician, recording with artists such as Ben Platt, Dom Kennedy, and Lenny White. In 2019, he joined the Jonas Brothers on their sold-out Happiness Begin Tour, performed at Madison Square Garden, Wembley Stadium, SNL, the Grammy's, and appeared in "Happiness Continues: A Jonas Brothers Concert Film" for Amazon Prime. As a writer and actor, Michael has studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade, and appeared in the John Varvatos Spring/Summer 2018 Campaign as well as the 2020 short film "Brown Paper Pageant".
