Michael Warwick grew up on the east coast attempting to be a working actor as a child. The occasional Off-Off Broadway play, industrial, commercial and voice-over led him to Los Angeles in his late teens where he has been working freelance ever since. Michael made his Hollywood debut as a dancer in the Disney musical film, Newsies. After that and many other blink and you'll miss him roles, he found his home behind the camera. With writer/director, Richard Day, Michael produced two feature films with international distribution. A 1950's period feature: Straight-Jacket (here! Films and TLA DVD) and the cult hit Girls Will Be Girls (IFC Films, MGM Home Video). He has worked as a personal assistant, researcher, casting director and producer in Film, Television and Theatre. Varied projects have included, Bette Midler's Experience The Divine Tour, Warner Bros.' LA Confidential (Michael provided all of the authenticity research for this Academy Award winning film), AMC's Documentary: Gay Hollywood (Producer), ABC's Dancing with the Stars (Rehearsal/Behind the Scenes Coordinator) and Oxygen's Fight Girls II (Casting Producer) to name a few. Shows he has produced have appeared in the US and Britain on Bravo, The Travel Channel, ABC, BBC, CH4, CH5, ITV, ITV2, Spike, We, FOX, Showtime and PBS. Never one to be idle, Michael also works as personal manager to Miss Coco Peru (Clinton Leupp), drag diva extraordinaire.
