Michael Vitovich was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio to Polish father Stanley Vitovich and Scottish-English mother Nancy Vitovich. The duality of Michael's careers have taken him down some unusual and unconventional roads. He has as a strong work ethic which he learned from his father and a technical, academic side, which he learned from his mother. Known for his individuality, he has not followed the crowded path that other actors have taken, with the main focus on the work and the final product. Michael is known for his characters ranging from the intensity of anger to heart breaking passion. Michael has been successful thus far in his career due to his enthusiasm, work ethic and his passionate drive.In his professional career before acting, Michael worked as a pathologist assistant for the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiners Office where he performed postmortem examinations (autopsies) for over 10 years. Most notably working on some well-known cases that gained worldwide attention. During this career he created a program that was aimed at bringing the law enforcement community together through death investigation training. He was so well respected that he was recruited to supervise the postmortem team for the University of Miami Brain Endowment Bank.In his acting career he has stood out from the crowd by taking any role and making it his own no matter how controversial or uncomfortable the role. He is best known for his acting range. Michael Plays the unlikely hero and lead Dr. Howe in 'Project E. 1337', (which is due for International release in 2018) or the evil reincarnate, Heinrich, in the soon to be cult hit, 'St. Gabriel', "and his most notable short film called "Nyctophobia". Nyctophobia earned him a nomination for best supporting actor at the Haunted Oaks Film Festival. "Daniel and Siri" helped to establish his range as an actor as a tormented preacher (Jacob). The crooked cop, Officer Oliver in I deserve better, the Dark serial killer from the 1920's in the retelling of the Mad butcher of Kingsbury run, Shadow of the Run. Michael has a presence about him that you can't take your eyes off of him because you are excited to see what he will do next.Michael Vitovich's acting work is not limited to film and includes theater, commercials, and music videos. He has taken on the role of the vicious Spider in Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical, as well as, played the vulnerable sheriff Deon Gilbeau in August: Osage County. His commercial work includes a major ad campaign for NFL's family tree apparel, which was played during Super Bowl XLIX, and, made an appearance in the music video DJ Scrilla as jogger.Michael's most recent and scheduled Film work includes a long list of up and coming projects; Nightmare Hotel as the lead and killer Ed Shaw, Costarring role in Dragged where he plays Jensen the troubled man who ends up fighting everyone and himself. Michael is Currently shooting a pilot episode for a web series called The Voice where he plays Danny Carlson a down on his luck man that is given a tremendous opportunity to change his life.
