Michael P. Flanagan began his film career at the age of 10, making films through a gifted children moviemaking program in conjunction with the LA City School system. After graduation from high school, he joined the military, and served for a term in Germany. Returning to Los Angeles in his early 20s, Flanagan schooled himself in media production by assuming a myriad of positions at an L.A. cable network, and later with Merv Griffin Enterprises. During his prolific career, Michael P. (Mick) Flannigan has produced or been a production executive on over 40 feature films from locations throughout the United States, as well as in Brazil, Canada, Ireland, and throughout Eastern Europe. He has worked with some of the leading independent feature film production companies and studios in Hollywood.In 2011 Michael line produced the wildly successful Universal Pictures release of "Pitch Perfect".Most recently Michael served as Head of Production for a major Hollywood production company where he oversaw physical production on "2 Guns", starring Denzel Washington & Mark Wahlberg and the upcoming releases of "Escape Plan", starring Sylvester Stallone & Arnold Schwarzenegger and "Lone Survivor", starring Mark Wahlberg & Eric Bana.In February 2013 Michael was named Head of the Abu Dhabi Film Commission.
