Michael Lawrence Potter is an actor, screenwriter and attorney from Johannesburg South Africa.After being admitted to the roll of attorneys in August 2018, Potter starred in various independent short films and music videos including " Ka Cool" by Bizzcuit and "Makoti" by Jay Cubes. During this time Potter completed his education under Steven Feinstein at the Indigoview Acting Academy, capped off by a performance of "Scenes" at the prestigious Johannesburg Theater.In January of 2019 Potter landed the role of "Bobby" in the feature film "Triggered".Following this role Potter acted in various short independent films including Maurice Loois' "Jaw" , Ofentse Mwase's "Men' Conference" ( a video which received over 200, 000 views on Youtube ) and Looped Picture's "The Big Sip".Michael penned an original play "Looking for Audrey" a play about man in a delusional relationship with Hollywood starlet, Audrey Hepburn. The play was performed between the 3rd and 5th of May 2020 at the PopArt Theater in Maboneng. The play sold out all three days and received positive reviews.In 2020 Potter has turned his attention to film making producing and starring in the isolation themed independent film "Inside".
