Michael is a native Texan and lifelong resident, born in Houston and now residing in Elgin, a small rural town east of Austin. He began his acting career as an uncredited Reenactor in "American Outlaws", followed by his appearance as a Reenactor in "The Alamo", where he appeared as both Mexican infantry and Texian infantry. He also worked to provide period military training for extras in that film. Got his first screen credit as assistant set decorator in "The Man Who Came Back" along with his company, Masterpiece Woodcrafters, which provided props. Most recently appeared as a Willoughby Townsperson in the TV series "Revolution". Has a great deal of knowledge in 19th century military and civilian history, having been a reenactor for many years.
