The program broadcasts daily from New York City and can be heard coast to coast.Most recently Castner hosted the WRNO Morning Show on WRNO FM in New Orleans and the afternoon show on Newsradio 1150 WJBO in Baton Rouge. Before the move to Louisiana, Castner was the host of Bonneville International's Nightside Project. The show originated from Salt Lake City, Utah. Michael was heard week nights on KSL News Radio in Salt Lake, KTAR in Phoenix and Talk Radio 3WT in Washington DC.Michael's career has spanned the spectrum of news, entertainment and politics. He came to Nightside from KFI, the number one news/talk radio station in Los Angeles. Prior to that Michael was a host on the E! Channel. During the 14 years he aired on E! Michael covered the red carpet and hosted his own talk show. Michael joined E! after a stint as London bureau chief for Entertainment Tonight. He covered the White House and State Department for Tribune Broadcasting and then went on to serve as press advisor to then congressional candidate Joseph P. Kennedy II. He has also served as Communications Guru for the Utah State Senate and regularly advised political candidates.Michael was the recipient of a National Press Foundation Fellowship Grant and has won awards from the Texas Associated Press for Best Investigative Reporting and Feature Reporting.In addition, Castner is an accomplished photographer. He is represented by WireImage/Getty Images, the leading digital photographic press agency and wire service. His images have appeared in publications worldwide including TV Guide, Hollywood Reporter, Sports Illustrated, AOL, New York Post, MSN, Teen Vogue, Soap Opera Digest, Soap Opera Weekly and Soaps In Depth.He was once in the Hollywood Christmas Parade with Mario Lopez and Screech from Saved by the Bell.
