Mia Mills is an British actress known for her roles in 'Do Something, Jake' and 'Countenance'.Having acted and performed from the age of 6 in local theatre companies, she began training in both acting for stage and screen at age 15. After completing a BTEC (Distinction) in Acting in 2011, she went on to study at Buckinghamshire New University and received a 1st class degree in Acting for Film, TV and Stage. During her time at university she worked with many well established actors and teachers. She trained with SignDance Theatre International for a year during her studies, working on dance, physical theatre and Commedia dell'arte techniques. Between the years of 2011-2014 she received vocal and speech training from 'The Voice School'.She received special training in acting for screen at the Actors Studio in Pinewood Studios, London. The course was run by award-winning director Tim Kent.As well as her work on several feature and short films she regularly works as a film and television extra; her extra work includes Charlie Brooker's 'Black Mirror' ('The Waldo Moment' and 'White Bear', 2013) and James Marsh' 'The Theory of Everything' (2014).
