Meredith Leigh Davis starred as Maggie in the horror film "All Saints Eve," directed by Gerry Lively.Mere is mostly recognized for her musical theatre, stage, and comedy credits.Her solo sketch comedy show "Just Mere" was featured during the 2018 New York City's SketchFest. The following year, her long-form solo show "Confessions Of A Recovering Catholic Schooledgirl" ran, and sold out at New York's West End Lounge.Mere was born and raised in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, and is the younger of two daughters. Her father, Samuel Davis, is the Co-Founder of a law firm with his brother, he is of Syrian descent. When his family immigrated to the United States from Syria; immigration officials changed their name from Dayoob to Davis.Her mother, Jean Davis is an English professor and poet, she is of Irish descent. Her sister Courtney Davis Walker works in public relations and is a musician.Mere was a soloist at an event honoring World War II, hero George C Marshal. She performed "God Save The Queen" for His Royal Highness Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. After the performance, Prince Andrew commented, "I have never heard such a pretty American voice on such a British song."Mere also performed the American National Anthem at a pro sports event, and after hearing her rendition, the featured speaker, Pete Rose, complimented her as having "the voice of an angel." In the fall of 2009, Mere made her Off- Broadway Debut in Al Carmines' well known musical "Christmas Rappings."Mere is engaged in political activism and has written legal articles for several law firms. She was instrumental in Intro 573. The banning of the horse and carriage's in New York City, and the passage of Intro 1233, the Circus Bill. The Circus Bill banned all wildlife animals from performing in New York City, and was passed in 2017.She has worked on several political campaigns. Mostly regarding animal rights, child protection, climate change, and gun control. She ran Oxfam America's first Syrian Refugee Crisis campaign in 2015.Mere resides in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. She is a player on Cherub improv team.
