Born on April 18, Mellie has always loved to perform. She enjoyed drama, vocal, & dance classes throughout her childhood. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Psychology and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. While musical theater is a passion, her favorite avenue of acting is TV/film. Living in SC, she has been lucky enough to be a part of several projects in and around the Southeast. Mellie is a teacher in a special needs preschool program, a dream job for her. She still, however, auditions and performs on stage & in front of the camera as much as possible.
