Melissa Biethan is an actress who works and lives in Los Angeles, California. Melissa continues to refine her talent through courses and seminars at The American Film Institute, and The SAG Foundation. She also studies acting with Candace Silvers.Melissa specializes in roles that represent historical eras, and well known cultural icons, from ancient times through the distinct decades of the twentieth century.In the summer of 2012, Melissa starred as Marilyn Monroe, with French Pop Sensation, Leslie, in the internationally acclaimed music video, "Les Mots Invincibles." Later that summer, she dazzled fans at Comic-Con 2012, as Catwoman. She has appeared in major publications, including special features for Entertainment Weekly in 2012, and again 2013. Melissa delivered another delightful on screen performance as Marilyn Monroe, in the first episode of "Broken Dreams Boulevard," starring Danny Aiello, and directed by Kevin Jordan, who won The Martin Scorsese Scholarship from Tisch School of the Arts, at New York University.Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Melissa began developing her theatrical abilities in grade school. After attending Waubonssee College, in Sugar Grove, Illinois, Melissa studied acting at The American Film Institute, in Hollywood. She continues to refine her abilities through The SAG Foundation, and The Don LaFontaine Voice Over Studio, at the SAG headquarters in in Los Angeles. Melissa also studied at Bill Howey's Acting Workshop in Burbank, and with Bobbie Shaw Chance, in Sherman Oaks, California.Melissa is very athletic, and won awards as a competitive swimmer. Her excellent swimming ability landed her a position as a lifeguard, for the City Of Los Angeles. Melissa is a also a certified scuba diver.
