Starting with modeling, & performing dance routines in high school, Melanie Gendron soon graduated from the University of San Diego, and was sent to New York by a California modeling agent, where she soon found herself involved in the health & fitness field, and theatre life in New York. Involved in dance & music projects early on, she was soon teaching, setting up, and/or training advanced fitness classes in top dance & fitness clubs/studio's in New York, South America, and California. Moving on to work privately with exclusive clients, her creative energies were quickly moving beyond her expertise in the dance-fitness world, and back to theatrically writing and performing.With a creative, "on the go" personality, Melanie created comedy fitness video's, stage renditions of original movie projects, screenplays, as well as creating and owning the rights to a fun, wacky character originally developed for a syndicated television show, and whom Melanie is developing many creative projects for. Melanie has created soundtracks for movie projects, written & performed original music, and has written three book projects.With her company, Sign Of Peace, Melanie is involved in expanding creative projects/products that touch the human spirit, & promote and embrace humanity, diversity, joy, & peace, as well as encouraging healthy foods and the importance of fitness. A longtime vegetarian, now vegan, and huge animal lover, Melanie believes in honoring the greatness of all beings. Melanie is working hard on numerous original creative projects.
