Meinhart Maur was born on August 18, 1884 in Hajdúnánás, Hungary as Menyhert Grünbaum. He was an actor and writer, known for The Tales of Hoffmann (1951), Harakiri (1919) and Die Teufelsanbeter (1920). He was married to Annie Arden. He died in 1964 in London, England.
