A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Megan Brown has been working professionally as an actress since 1998. She booked her second audition out with a role as Mileena, the evil ugly twin to the beautiful princess Kitana on WB's Mortal Kombat. Thanks that good fortune early on, Megan is proudly a card-carrying member of the Screen Actor's Guild. While in Florida, Megan honed her craft at the Performer's Studio Workshop in Tampa, experienced theatre at the Orlando International Fringe Festival in Neil LaBute's chilling drama, Bash, and enjoyed a sold out crowd in Eve Ensler's Vagina Monologues.In 2003, Megan moved to New York City where she attended Columbia University, studying the intersection between Science and Religion, with a focus on the nature of human consciousness. By her graduation in 2005, Megan had performed Off-Broadway in the #1 hit show, Pieces (of ass), in several short films, and been featured on Comedy Central.In 2006, Megan's film producing career got off to a good start with Persuasion, a short film which was a finalist at the Miami Entertainment Industry Incubator's Collaboration: A Short Film Competition. The month of May took her to Shreveport, Louisiana to film her first feature. You will see her in MGM's worldwide opening of Mr. Brooks on June 1, 2007 alongside Kevin Costner, William Hurt, Demi Moore and Dane Cook.Megan took another hilarious turn as a comedienne as the Cross-Eyed Mom in National Lampoon's Robodoc. The over the top comedy is due out in Summer 2008.In March, 2007, Megan was on location in New Orleans shooting a scene with Brad Pitt on David Fincher's epic screen adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's short story, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.Megan currently lives in beautiful Shreveport, Louisiana (a budding movie town without traffic!) where she enjoys cooking, antiquing with her actor friends and hanging out at their house with the two dogs, Lucy and Bean.
