(DVD rental only)Selig's newest web-series (The Gunrunner Billy Kane) is set to release on Vimeo in December of 2015. Selig is the Series Creator as well as Writer/Director/Producer.The Gunrunner Billy Kane (aka GBK) is a futuristic Sci-Fi western series. Series regulars include Angela Elayne Gibbs, John Kassir, Mark Arnold, Bella King and Julianna Robinson among others. Selig plays the lead character, rogue doctor-Billy Kane.Primarily an actor, Selig recently had a speaking role in Zero Dark Thirty and continues to perform in various independent film projects.He received his B.A. in History at the University of Arkansas with a minor in theater. Upon graduation he joined the US Marines and went through Navy flight training as a Marine Pilot. Selig flew the A-6E "Intruder" all-weather attack jet and is a decorated combat veteran of Desert Storm (43 combat missions) receiving the Air Medal with combat "V".Departing the service to pursue a music career, Selig ran a recording studio in Monterey, California and eventually recorded his first CD, subsequently shooting a Music Video, "Zena and Electra" in the Mojave desert with friends.Using old 16mm cameras, Selig was turned on to the joys of filmmaking and storytelling and decided to make a risky life change in 1998.Moving to Los Angeles, he began work as a screenwriter assuming various other jobs to support his writing efforts. He returned to Hot Springs, Arkansas to film Southern Justice, shooting Super 16 and going broke in the process.Without any finishing funds, Selig learned to edit and eventually completed all post-production himself before sending his movie "teaser" to ThinkFilm and gaining a distribution deal.Selig is currently shooting new episodes for GBK as well as performing as an actor in various productions. He lives in San Francisco with his partner Capra J'neva and their two year old daughter Vyla.They enjoy going "off-grid" with friends to their small cabin in Big Sur where Capra builds incredible art for Burning Man and Vyla holds court on various hikes and adventures.
