Max was born in raised in the city of Melbourne, residing in St. Kilda. A devout method performer, Max has worked on John Romeril's The Kelly Dance (Ned Kelly), Anton Chekov's Three Sisters (Andrei Prozorov), Carol Churchill's Love and Information (ensemble) and William Shakespeare's As You Like It (Orlando). In film, Max has worked on Greta Nash's Locker Room (Finn), earning a place at The Accelerator of The Melbourne International Film Festival along with being a part of the creative process in Stanislav Kacar's Iridescent (Jayden Ambrose), due for release in early 2018.
