Freeman was born in Bulgaria in 1960 to two actors. He was trained at Susan Strasberg workshop in Rome, National Academy for Theatre & Film Arts "Krustyo Sarafov" Bulgaria, Susan Cohen Studio in New York, He went to Rome, Italy with an Italian scholarship into the highly competitive and elite Academia D'Arte Dramatica Silvio D'Amico, acting-directing qualification program, after he earned his MD in acting in Sofia.After his graduation Freeman made his debut as an actor in theater, cinema and TV. He first participated in "Dangerous Charm"(1984), but he gained his reputation as an actor in "Time of Violence"(1986) He moved to Los Angeles and became a U.S. Citizen. His credits include: "Time of Violence" (Vreme na Nasilie), director Liudmil Staikov, "Dali" (Spain), "Racket" (Italy) director Luiggi Perelli, "Emilia's Friends" director Liudmol Todorov. For his performance in "The Insurance" he got great articles in Variety- Leonard Klady, Los Angeles Times-Kevin Thomas, Boxofice Magazine-Michelle Santilli, and Randy Matin.
