Max was born in the nation's capital and spent his formative years in the Prince George's county public school system, where he was on Hyattsville Middle School's county championship winning Science Bowl Team. He transferred to a DC prep high school where he focused on athletics, placing 3rd in the city wrestling championships at the 171 lb weight class in his junior year and senior years, despite wrestling on a broken ankle.At 17 he moved to NYC to pursue his BFA from NYU Tisch and soon after began working professionally in commercials, TV, theatre and film. He draws from his NYC experiences working as a bike messenger, Hvac technician, bus mechanic and many other side jobs to add depth and verisimilitude to his characters.Despite his dexterity with a wide array of languages and virtuosic command of dialects, Max is perhaps best known for his portrayals of villains, notably his performance as Jeremy Jones in the hit series Law and Order SVU and the cold blooded biker, Dawson, featured in the upcoming film, Freaky Tales, staring Pedro Pascal and Tom Hanks and Jack Champion.He encourages you to watch his reels and familiarize yourself with his work Show less «
