Mavrick Dixon (born December 21, 1989) in Plantation Florida, is an American film, commercial, and television actor. Mavrick was very active growing up competing in various sports and outdoor activities. You could often find him outside as a kid. As Dixon started to get older, around middle school, he became very active in his schools drama dept. Dixon was engulfed in the passion of acting, to which he had the lead role in two school plays...and various other skits and performances. After he graduated high school he received a scholarship to play football for Webber International University. Mid way throughout the season Dixon blew his knee out, and shortly after left the school. While Dixon rehabilitating his knee, he decided to pursue his passion, acting. Starting with any audition he could get too.Mid 2011 the CEO of Self-Inc., LLC, Self, approached Dixon and spoke with him about an opportunity to help his career expand; Self took the role of his manager. Having already been in a couple of student films as well as an entertainment actor for universal studios theme park, Mavrick saw this opportunity to get his foot in the door. Dixon is working in Florida, New York, Georgia and California at the present date and time of his career.In a years time, Mavrick Dixon has impressed directors & producers on astonishing shows as Royal Pains, Necessary Roughness, & Political Ties. Enlighten of his Television career, the film aspect is just as astute with the leading role in the upcoming independent film Brake Lights, and the upcoming Kevin Hart & Ice Cube film Ride Along.
