Matthew Mullins is a professional writer, photographer, actor and most recently an event promoter for Bullet Bar & Eagle LA, both located in Southern CaliforniaHe was born in Huntington Beach and lived there for the first 17 years of his life, with his interests and early life dedicated to musical theatre and acting. In high school he went to the Academy for the Performing Arts in Huntington Beach, and graduated in 1998.In the last decade, he has emerged as an underground electronic music artist, creating odd and quirky experimental electronic music under the name Biological.After moving all over the Southern California area, he ended up moving to Los Angeles in 2004, where he met his partner, Dan Lovell. During his title year, he became a bartender at the Bullet bar, and raised over $8,000 collectively for charities such as, APLA, AIDS Lifecycle, St Judes Research Hospital, Long Beach AIDS Alliance, LA Gay & Lesbian Center, Paws LA, Tom of Finland Foundation, and several other charitiesIn 2015, he competed and won the title Mr. West Coast Olympus Leather, and competed in the International Olympus Leather Contest in Atlanta, but did not place.Mullins is also known as Pup Ashtray Kain, and is the co-creator of the Los Angeles Puppy Pride Festival, which features the Los Angeles Pup Contest.
